Czinege case hits out at SFZ´s legislative branch
A very confusing and complicated situation concerning Juraj Czinege´s transfer from Slovak Inter Bratislava to Austrian GAK Graz has logically forced the Slovak Football Association (SFZ) representatives to think about creating an arbitrary commission that would solve similar and many other issues easily. A similar institution have been functioning in many other successful football countries and should now be finally developed in Slovakia as well. "We have dealt with Czinege´s case in a correct way," emphasized SFZ general secretary Dusan Tittel at a press conference and kept going:
"In order to create an arbitrary commission we need to take further steps such as changes in our legislative. We are planning on making further discussions on this topic on SFZ´s September meeting already." The chaotic situation regarding the clearance for a player transferring to a team abroad who hasn´t continued fulfilling the conditions of the contract with his former team because of them not fulfilling their financial duties lead Igor Nemeckay, SFZ member, to state his opinion. According to Nemeckay the football association should not give out clearances for any players who do not reach an agreement with their teams. And this was the case with Czinege. As we know, Czinege´s problem will be processed by FIFA.
According to Jozef Tokos, one of Czinege´s two licensed agents (Juraj Venglos is the other one) who has represented Juraj Czinege, there are the possibilities for a player to change a team."One of them is in accordance with the regulations for the status and transfer of players, article 17b: professional players are limited with contracts which in this case has been cancelled according to one of the conditions stated in the contract itself. Nemeckay´s statements about SFZ´s correctness as to providing a clearance for the player are not exactly right,“ said Jozef Tokos for SITA and continued: "Slovak Football Association should make further investigations on this matter and judge again, and not wait for FIFA to decide."
Wanke, SFZ sports director has repeatedly confirmed the validity of Czinege´s contract with Inter Bratislava on the Thursday´s meeting with the player and his agents. Juraj asked for a copy of the decision documents based on which SFZ has not yet provided international clearance for him. According to Inter representatives the player´s withdrawal from the contract is not justified. In our opinion the opposite is true. Equally, the Bratislava club has reported Czinege and there will be a lawsuit.
