Slovak football club FKM Prievidza, a participant in the second-highest domestic league (I. liga), has acquired Inter Bratislava defender Roman Mihálik on a six-month loan.

Slovak football club FKM Prievidza, competing in the second-highest domestic league (I. liga), is close to securing Inter Bratislava defender Roman Mihálik on a six-month loan. The 20-year-old, 186 cm tall center-back (born January 22, 1988) was originally expected to join LAFC Lučenec, where he even trained for a week, but the situation changed. “Both clubs, Inter and Prievidza, have already reached an agreement; only the administrative details remain. The player is already in Prievidza, he should train on Friday, and on Saturday he will sign the six-month loan,” said SFZ-licensed agent and player manager Jozef Tokos to the SITA agency.

Roman Mihálik, who began playing football in Gbely, progressed through all Slovak youth national teams from U15 to U19. “He also has one cap for the Slovak U20 team and has played a total of 19 matches in the second-highest league for Inter Bratislava and Lučenec,” added Jozef Tokos.
