Football goalkeeper Jan Mucha was supposed to fly to negotiations in England
Snow stopped him

The dream of Slovak goalkeeper Jan Mucha (27) is to secure an engagement in the cradle of football – England. After his excellent performances for both Legia Warsaw and the national team, it looks very realistic. On Tuesday, information appeared that Jan Mucha had flown for a trial with Arsenal.

“That’s complete nonsense. Moreover, a trial is out of the question. Not in Arsenal, nor in any other club. I spent the whole day with Jan in Slovakia,” said Slovak international’s agent Jozef Tokos.

However, according to our verified information, Jan Mucha together with his agent really were supposed to fly to England on Tuesday. Not for a trial, though. Both were set to attend negotiations with a team from the English top league.

The weather on the Isles, however, said no. Heavy snow and frost hit England. The situation was critical especially in the middle of the country. Airports in Liverpool and Manchester suspended operations. When the talks regarding the future of our goalkeeper will take place should become clear in the coming days.

The interest of an English club, or perhaps several clubs from that country, in Jan Mucha remains surrounded by great secrecy. (...)
