Slovak goalkeeper Jan Mucha held talks with two clubs in England

Legia Warsaw goalkeeper Jan Mucha (27) was yesterday in the UK with his agent Jozef Tokos. They met with representatives of two Premier League clubs. Originally, the Slovak international was supposed to travel to the UK last week, but bad weather prevented the trip, as airports in Manchester and Liverpool were closed. The second attempt was successful, and Mucha has been in the UK since Tuesday.

“Offers from England don’t come often. If there’s a chance, you have to try to take it. For now, I’d rather not talk about specific clubs,” said Jan Mucha. According to our sources, he held transfer negotiations with two Premier League clubs: on Tuesday with Everton representatives and yesterday with Tottenham. In both cases, the clubs would sign Mucha from July 1, when the Slovak international becomes a free agent. And the outcome of the talks? No agreement has been reached yet, but there is a possibility that both sides will return to the negotiating table in the coming days.

He flew to Italy
Legia Warsaw begins preparations for the spring part of the season today, and according to the club, Jan Mucha was expected at training. However, instead of flying from England to Poland, the Slovak international traveled to Italy with his agent Jozef Tokos. He is expected to hold talks with a top Serie A team. Istanbul giants Besiktas, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce have also expressed interest in Mucha. In all cases, any potential transfer would take effect from July 1, meaning that Slovakia’s number one goalkeeper will most likely finish the spring part of the season with Legia Warsaw.
