Mucha negotiated with Tottenham

London’s “Spurs” are making strong efforts to secure Slovak national team goalkeeper Mucha from July 1, 2010

Although recent reports about a trial of Slovak national team goalkeeper Jan Mucha Jr., currently with Polish top-flight side Legia Warsaw, at English giants Arsenal London were, according to his agent Jozef Tokos, complete fabrication, the 27-year-old goalkeeper from Bela nad Cirochou could still end up on the British Isles. But it will likely not be Glasgow Rangers – instead, it seems to be Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. London’s “Spurs” are pushing hard to sign Mucha from July 1, 2010. Polish media are on alert. They knew that Mucha had gone somewhere to negotiate a new contract, but differed on the destination. The mission was strictly secret, and no one wanted to comment on anything. According to Polish outlets, neither the goalkeeper nor his agent want to reveal anything until the matter is fully resolved. “Such an offer comes only once in a lifetime and it would be a sin not to take it,” added the secretive Jan Mucha Jr. for the Polish media.
