Mucha could sign a new contract

According to Mucha’s agent Jozef Tokos, Liverpool’s FC Everton had not for a moment considered releasing the Slovak goalkeeper even on loan in recent times. “Now it has shown why. When Howard was out, Jano fully replaced him,” emphasized Tokos, who watched Everton’s match with Manchester City directly at the stadium and had previously held a personal conversation with coach David Moyes. “Mucha’s performance in this match created a big response, not only on the islands; he was included almost everywhere in the best teams of the Premier League round. It cannot be ruled out that he will stay at Everton, where his contract expires in the summer. Much also depends on how the coaching situation in the club will be resolved, whether Moyes stays, as he has already publicly announced that he is leaving, with his contract also expiring in the summer. The situation would then change. For him, Howard was the number one all along.”

Tokos also stressed that Mucha could already sign a new contract. “According to the rules, six months before the expiry of his contract he can agree with another club as a free player, and this possibility is still real. He has several offers. The optimal option would be to stay in England and play in the Premier League. It is quite a complicated situation for decision-making, because with the highest probability another Mucha contract at Everton will not be dealt with now during the season,” concluded Tokos.
