Tokoš: My client has "fought" with a Croat

Jozef Tokos is a licensed players agent, who negotiates the transfer of Jozef Gáspár to Japan. Tokos thinks that if the second league club Vegalta Sendai hires his client and he plays well, Jozef could open the way to the Japan Islands for other Slovak football players. Lubomir Luhovy and Lubomir Moravcik would not be the only Slovaks playing in Japan.

How did you manage to find a club in Japan that is interested in a Slovak football player?
“Japanese were looking for a tall player in the Central Europe who could scare smaller Asian forwards. Gáspár, besides other qualities, does meet this requirement. The management of the second league Vegalta Sendai club was considering a Croat and Jozef and they decided for the Slovak.”

What kind of a club Vegalta Sendai is?
“Based on the contacts in Japan, I know that Vegalta Sendai is a prominent second league club aiming to be promoted to the first league, with a solid fan base. Jozef, who was being eyed by the Japanese club during the autumn, persuaded them, but he has to yet undertake medical test.”
