The Slovak international Juraj Czinege dissolved the contract with Inter Bratislava which would normally expire at the end of June 2003. There was a new contract being prepared by Austrian GAK. However, he couldn´t have signed the contract with the Austrian team since SFZ have not given out a clearance for the player. The Austrians were then seeking help in FIFA.

How do the GAK officials view this whole situation?

“They are positive about myself being right in this case. I convinced them about my qualities and the contract has been ready to sign for a long time.”

Your words have been confirmed by club´s director Günther Koschak who also said that they will be fighting for you until the very end since you are a player who could be a big asset for their team..

“After talking to the club´s manager Oliver Kölli I went to Bratislava to get things done together with my two managers Venglos and Tokos. In GAK they are still counting on me. I have a company car as well as a company apartment which confirms it.”

Can you imagine a return to Inter Bratislava?

“No, not now.”
