Artmedia Petržalka (first league) officials started talks with the agent of the Slovak player Ivan Hodúr who is currently playing for the Czech league winner FC Slovan Liberec, regarding his eventual transfer to Slovakia. Twenty years old Hodur has to face big competition as there is another experienced offensive midfielder at Liberec. His name is Samuel Slovák, a Slovakia player as well, who came back from Primera Division where he had played for Tenerife. There is also a possibility that Vaclav Kolousek, one of the key players in Liberec, will stay. He might prolong his contract even he still has one more year on his contract with Salernitana, Italy. “We agreed on certain conditions with Hodur´s agent, now Liberec has to make a statement which also depends on Kolousek, whether or not he stays. Unless Kolousek leaves the club, Hodur will most probably go on loan. It is not sure yet, whether it will be Petrzalka who will sign him on loan. Should Kolousek go back to Italy, Ivan may stay at Liberec. It remains to be seen how things will go, but we are still in the game“, explained Petrzalka manager Petr Kaspar. The information has been confirmed by Hodur´s agent Jozef Tokos:“Whether Hodur leaves Liberec really depends on Kolousek´s future. According to my information, we should come to a solution until the end of August. It all depends on the club´s attitude. When the officials decide they will let the player go, Ivan might be already playing for Petrzalka in the third or fourth round of the Slovak league. A player like Hodur needs to play regularly. If he stays at Liberec it might be a signal for him to work even harder on the training ground and try to work himself into the starting line-up.“
