The interest in the Slovak national team goalkeeper Jan Mucha has recently increased substantially. Legia Warsaw goalie has been targeted by various clubs from the UK, France, Spain, Portugal as well as the Netherlands. According to his agent Mr Jozef Tokos, an ideal new club  for the best goalkeeper of the Polish Ekstraklasa league should be from one of top 5 European leagues, possibly in the Netherlands. „There has been no official offer at Legia´s or my desk as of today. I must confirm that the interest in Jan Mucha is rather big. We will be trying to find a new club from a top European country, possibly a Champions League club from other country,“ said Jozef Tokos to the SITA press agency.

There have been rumours about the interest of the French side Grenoble Foot 38 as well as the Greek club AE Larissa in Jan Mucha. The Polish media also mention the interest of other French club including the champions Girondins Bordeaux. Especially in France various goalkeepers might change clubs. Moreover, many French clubs changed head coaches after the previous season. The big transfers can be related to this fact as well. „Jan has a very good reputation in Poland. He is not strictly against staying in Warsaw. If he transfers, it will be to a club with big ambitions. He wants to be very successful,“ added Tokos.
Because of these reasons the transfer to the Greek club Larissa does not seem to be realistic. Jan Mucha is under valid contract with Legia until June 30, 2010.
