He played excellent in his second game for Everton FC, saved a penalty as well as other chances of the opponent. However, the fiasco of the Premiership club has not been avoided by the performance of the hero of the Slovak national team Jan Mucha. Everton FC with the Slovak goalie was outplayed from the Carling Cup with the Division One club Brentford.

The teams drew 1:1 after 90 minutes. Brentford won 4:3 on penalties and outplayed the favourite. „He was satisfied with his individual performance. In general it is a disappointment because the clear victory of Everton was expected,“ the manager of our goalie Jozef Tokos said for our newspaper.

The Slovak did not avoid the fiasco
The game of Brentford´s Griffin Park was only second competitive for Mucha for Everton FC. The guests started better, scored in the 6th minute (Seamus Coleman).  The division one club equalised before the half time when Gary Alexander headed home.

In the second half Brentford got the penalty, but Mucha saved the shot of Charlie MacDonald. „It is not sure whether Jan gets a chance in the Premier League game away with Fulham, “ Tokos added. The American goalie Tim Howard gets chances to play in the most prestigious football league in the world.

Bad start for Everton FC
According to Mucha´s agent it is important how Mucha will use the chance from the manager  David Moyes. „I think Mucha´s first appearance in the Premier League is only a question of time,“ his agent claims. Everton FC is not successful at the beginning of the new season with only 2 points out of 5 games. (...) „Mucha is working hard and waiting for his chance,“ Tokos concluded. Jan Mucha also confirms he could get his chance in the league as well. (..)
