Our goalie is waiting for his first Premier League game. Tonight he will play in the Carling Cup.

Jan Mucha wears a jersey with no. 1 at Everton Football Club. However, the clear number one goalie is his rival, an American Tim Howard. He played all 5 games in the new Premiership season despite two howlers that cost Everton FC important points and resulted into the bottom of the  Premier League chart. „I am  working hard and  fighting for my chance. Hope my time at Everton will come," Jan Mucha said for Economic Daily.

The game number two

Our national team goalie no. 1 confirms for our daily that he will play the second time for Everton FC in a competitive game tonight.  Following the winner of the second round of the Carling Cup with   Huddersfield (5:1) he will play in the third round of the Carling Cup with  Brentford. „I have recently talked to the manager   Davidom Moyes. He is happy with my performances. He says I have good prospects for the club," Mucha says. His current status of the goalie number 2 is not making him nervous. He experienced that in the past in Inter Bratislava, Zilina or the Polish side  Legia Warsaw. „He had always become the number one at the end of the day. Everton knew that. He is hundred per cent ready and patiently waiting for his chance," his manager  Jozef Tokos says for Economic Daily.

He does not think of other club
When transferring to Everton, Jan Mucha knew what to expect. Otherwise he would not have turned down a financially more lucrative offer from the Turkish club Kayerispor. He knew he would be playing in all single league game in Turkey.  „He has chosen the more strenuos path, as he used to do in the past. This is his attitude,"  Jozef Tokos says. According to the agent, Mucha is not thinking of leaving Everton in case he will be the second goalie and not playing in Premiership games in the near future. „He has bought a house in Liverpool. His family joined him two weeks ago. Everton is his club. He is not interested in anything else but to be a regular starter for Everton,"  Tokos adds.

Going for walks with Skrtel and their dogs
Mucha is spending free time in Liverpool with our elite national team defender Martina Skrtel, the player of the rival club FC Liverpool. „We are together almost every day, going out to restaurants or for walks with our dogs," Mucha said. Apart from fulfilling duties in the goal of Everton FC, he likes watching other Premiership games live.  For example, last Sunday he was watching  Skrtel  in the game with Man United (2:3). „It was a very good game. Skrtel`s team was unlucky. (...),“ Mucha added.
