Stanislav Cuprišin made an impression at Sampdoria Genoa trial

Slovak youth national player Stanislav Cuprišin made a try-out at Italian heavyweight Sampdoria Genoa last week. Still only 16-year-old, 182 cm high, centre forward is player of MFK Košice with which he has a signed valid contract. After this trial he joined his U 17 team-mates on Sunday morning. There is an international tournament in Hungarian city of Ráckevo where is also Slovak national team U 17 taking part and is gearing up for Saturday´s 3.place game against Serbia.
During his stay at Sampdoria he managed to play in one friendly match, in which he scored.“Sampdoria have high-quality team, which achieved Italian championship final last year, in which it lost 0:1 to Internazionale Milan. So I am really gratified that Stano did not play the second fiddle in this fierce competition. Sampdoria management have already proclaimed their interest in acquiring player on loan. I presume they initiate talks with MFK Košice board during following week,” told for website futbal.sk manager of Stanislav Cuprišin Jozef Tokoš. Cuprišin practiced and played in category Primavera, in which play footballers born in 1988 or younger and most of them are thus three years older than Stanislav Cuprišin.
