Players earn more even in Azerbaijan

The players from the Slovak premier league are poor in comparison with other European leagues.

A study made by the company Sporting Intelligence publishing the players´income proves that the football players in Slovakia earn in average 32000 euro yearly, while they earn twice more in the Czech Republic and even three times more in Poland. According to the report, the Hungarian league is also financially better, the players earn 80000 euro a year. „In Hungary itis a logical result of the Government effort to support sports in a great extent. In 50-million Poland sports marketing is at higher level,“ Jozef Tokos, sports analyst and football intermediary reasons the results of the study. According to Tokos, there are two - three clubs in each of those countries that pay to the players far more than average.   „It  is Slovan in Slovakia, iPlzen, Sparta and Slavia in the Czech Republic, for instance Legia Warsaw in Poland.  In Poland even promoted teams to their Ekstraklasa can offer a player 5-6000 euro netto, which is impossible in Slovakia,“ the analyst mentions.
