According to Reuters, the data provided by the orginisation FIFPro to the European parliament show that 20,7 million dollars is the lowest amount paid to clubs as training compensation in 2012. On the other hand, payments to football agents broke a record as they increased by 15 per cent in comparison with 2014. „Football bodies can regulate the amounts of training compensation as it is possible to do it. There are charts showing how much the clubs developing young players can claim,“ explains a sport analyst and football intermediary Jozef Tokos. He collaborates with the company Sports Law & Arbitration regarding training compensation claims. „Some clubs are not interested and a possibility to get the compensation, sometimes unexpected for them, does not persuade them to go ahead,“ mentioned Jozef Tokos. Their services do not cost clubs a penny as the agency representing interests of clubs from eight countries in the world, for instance FC Porto or FC Parma is paid only from their success fee.
