Jozef Gaspar, a former player of Inter Bratislava, will wear a jersey of another club from Bratislava – Slovan in the season 2004/2005. The 27 years old central back has been practicing with the second-league club since Monday and signed a one-year contract with the club. “After finishing the contract in Japan, Jozef became a free agent, so he could change the club after the deadline of the transfer period as well. On Saturday he will definitely not play in Podbrezova yet. Documents needed to make the transfer definitive are not complete so Slovan must ask for them the Japanese through the Slovak Football Association, ” said Jozef Tokos, the player’s manager, for the SITA press agency.

Gaspar left from Inter for the second-league Vegalta Sendai during the winter break of the last season. In the country of the Rising Sun he played all 22 matches in thec spring, but then he agreed with the employer on the termination of the contract. Gaspar should play for the first time for Slovan in the match of the 7th round of the second league against Licartovce on Saturday on the 11th September 2004.
