The Slovak national team football player Tomáš Oravec will with the highest probability join the Austrian bundes league club Herold Admira Wacker. On Thursday, the player’s agent Jozef Tokos agreed with representatives of the 6th team of the last season of the Austrian bundes league on the one-year contract with an option. The forward, who has been playing for Viktoria Zizkov, should sign the contract on Wednesday. "On Thursday, I had four hours negotiation with Christian Trupp, the sports manager of Admira, and we agreed on the conditions of a one-year contract with a one-year option for the club. Tomas is right now on holidays, from which he is coming back on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday he will take medical tests in Vienna and then he should sign the contract. However, the agreement with Zizkov has not been reached yet" said the licensed manager Jozef Tokos, representing the national player of the Slovak Republic with seven caps.

The 23 years old forward’s contract with Viktoria Zizkov will expire on the 30th June and in the case of signing the contract, he will come to Admira as a free agent. Oravec came to Viktoria in January 2002 from Ruzomberok with the reputation of a well-known goal scorer. In his first season he scored three times and in the season 2002/2003, in spite of a bad injury and six-months convalescence, he scored eight times. In the last season the Slovak goal scorer scored five goals, but even those did not help to save Viktoria in the highest league. Also Sparta Praha and Banik Ostrava were interested in Oravec in the winter, three years ago he took tests in the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyjev.
