With the highest probability, the football player Tomas Oravec will leave Zizkov after two years spent here. The contract with the team that relegated from the first league expires in one month. Therefore the 23 years old forward decides where his next career will continue. “In fact, it is out of discussions that Tomas continue in Zizkov,” confirmed the player’s manager Jozef Tokos yesterday. On Friday, it was not possible to contact the player himself. He is on holidays and his mobile was off. Oravec came to Prague in the winter 2002 from Slovak Ruzomberok and during two seasons and a half he scored sixteen goals in 53 matches. He got even to the broad squad of the Slovak national national team, but in the last year, in the same way as Zizkov, he was suffering. Anyway, with five goals, he became the best goal scorer of the team.

”Tomas had already one offer from the team that plays in the middle of the Austrian league. But they wanted him to decide in 24 hours that we could not accept,“ says Tokos. Some Spanish clubs were also interested in the well-known forward. “I can confirm that it is a club that should be promoted into the highest Spain league,” says Tokos.

In the second Spanish league, four rounds before the end, there are Levante, Numancia and Alavés on the first three places in the league table guaranteeing the promotion to the Primera Division. Also clubs from the Czech Republic are interested in Oravec. There are gossips about Sparta, Slavia, Ostrava and Liberec. “I can confirm the interest of two out of these clubs, but it is not yet official,” claims Tokos. However, leaving abroad is the priority for Oravec. “It is of course the dream of every football player, so is of Tomas. But the Champions League attracts him as well. It is very interesting opportunity.” Considering this possibility, out of Czech teams, Sparta and Ostrava, clubs that are going to play the Champions League qualification, would come to consideration. “In the next year, the winner of the Czech league will promote directly to the Champions League and there is not only Sparta with this ambition,” says Tokos, not disclosing the particular club. “In should be decided in two weeks. Meanwhile nothing is being spoken about the transfers. It is just getting started,” concluded Tokos.
